| | | Santa Sabina’s Fundraising Fancy Dress Days continued this term with our Circus Fancy Dress Day on March 30th, marking the start of the Easter Holidays.
Staff and students were invited to dress as a character from The Circus. A competition was held in which the most imaginative and creative costumes were judged and prizes were awarded for the best entries. We were delighted to welcome Holly Carpenter, a past pupil and the current Miss Ireland, as a guest judge to this term’s competition.
There were lots of treats and surprises for everyone including a candy floss machine and a fantastic chocolate fountain, ably manned by Sixth Year students.
The day was also an opportunity for students to contribute to the fund for the multi-function AstroTurf pitch. Thank you again to staff, students and parents for your continued support.
The event was enormous fun and a wonderful success! Very special congratulations to the Competition Winners:
1st Place: Clown Car: Nicole Guinnee and Rachel O’Connor (4th Year)
2nd Place: Zombie: Susie Brennan (3rd Year)
3rd Place: Knife Thrower: Rebecca Guyett (6th Year) and
Monkey: Jane O’Dwyer (5th Year)
