| | | We wish to extend our most sincere thank-you to Audrey Merdy who has been with us since last October as a French Language Assistant. She has been a wonderful asset to the school and to the French Department in particular. The girls interacted very well indeed with her and participated with great enthusiasm in her ‘French Club’
She is returning to France at the end of May and we are so sorry that she has to leave us.
We wish you the very best of luck Audrey and look forward to keeping in contact.

| | | Un grand merci a Audrey, qui est restée parmi nous depuis le mois d’octobre en tant qu’assistante de français. Elle a été un merveilleux atout pour l’école et plus particulièrement pour le département français. Une vraie communication s’est établie entre les élèves et elle, et les élèves ont participé au club de français avec enthousiasme.
Elle retourne en France a la fin du mois de mai: C’est dommage qu’elle doive nous quitter.

| | | We are delighted to have welcomed Stephanie Allemand, a French teacher to our school. She participated in school life for two weeks as part of a new pilot cultural programme agreed by the Department of Education and Skills and the French Education Ministry.
She visited various classes, went on school outings and the girls really enjoyed hearing her perspective and the difference between the two countries.
Thank you Stephanie and we wish you the very best. | | | | La Visite de Stéphanie Allemand | | | Nous sommes ravis d’avoir accueilli Stéphanie Allemand, une prof française, à Santa Sabina. Elle a pris part à la vie de l’école pendant deux semaines dans le cadre d’un programme culturel piloté par les ministères de l’éducation français et irlandais.
Elle a assisté a différents cours, a participé a des sorties scolaires et les élèves ont vraiment apprécié d’entendre son témoignage et de l’entendre parler des différences entre la France et l’Irlande.
