Transition Year News Autumn ‘09

Congratulations to all 4th Years on a wonderful start to the year. The new additions to the timetable, Young Social Innovators and Acting Up (the Drama Programme), are going very well. Their success is directly related to your active and enthusiastic participation.
Well done to everyone who went to Achill, (September 30th – October 2nd.) Everyone really enjoyed an action packed few days, especially all of the exciting activities such as surfing, canoeing and hill walking. Congratulations particularly to the Gaisce participants who have now completed their ‘Venture Section’, and keep up the hard work when completing the remaining three requirements.
Best Wishes to all of our 4th Years in their Community Outreach Initiative. It will be a very rewarding experience. Remember to keep on top of all of your assignments and projects so you can shine in your Christmas reports.
We hope all of the TY girls have a happy and peaceful Christmas and look forward to a busy and rewarding 2010.
