The Heineken Cup Comes to Santa Sabina

Having won the Heineken Cup earlier this year, Leinster Rugby Club decided to send the Cup on a ‘tour’ of rugby clubs in Leinster as a means of promoting the sport in the province. As the Cup was in Sutonians Rugby Club for a few days in September, we in Santa Sabina were fortunate to enjoy a visit to the school on September 3rd from some members of the local club who were accompanying the Cup to schools in the area.
Everyone had lots of fun posing for photos with the famous trophy in The Spórtlann. Thank you to Sutonians and Leinster Rugby Clubs for the wonderful opportunity for the staff and students in Santa Sabina to see The Heineken Cup and congratulations again to Leinster on their wonderful win!
