| | | | | PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION | Welcome to the Santa Sabina Parents’ Association web page. The purpose of this section of the school website is to let parents know more about the Parents‘ Association. As a parent of a daughter in the school you are a member of the Parents’ Association. As a Parents’ Association we strive to do what we can to play our role as part of the school community, working together to give our daughters the best possible secondary school experience.
The Association’s main objective is to contribute to the educational environment of Santa Sabina pupils and enhance their lives whilst at the school. The detailed Aims and Objectives of the Parents’ Association are described in section 2 of our Constitution (click on the Constitution button on the left for more) and the role of a Parents’ Association as described in the Education Acts is explained further under the Role of Parents’ Association button.
The Parents’ Association also raises funds to invest in projects and facilities that will enhance your daughter’s experience at the school. For example we have raised money for the ongoing funding of the wonderful new Astroturf pitch facilities and the “Sportlann“ - our purpose-built sports hall. It is wonderful to see our girls using both of which we are very proud.
In February 2012 the Parents’ Association began a regular email bulletin for parents called NewSStop. This bulletin informs parents of all the important dates and news coming up in the next month. NewSStop is sent directly to your email address and its aim is to keep you up to date with all school news.
All ideas in relation to this web page and to the general work of the Parent’s Association are more than welcome, so please contact us with any suggestions or ideas.
