An End of Year Message From Ms Cavanagh

Dear Parents/Guardians

As we come to the end of 2011 and the end of another school term, I look back at all that has happened and wonder where we got the time to do it all.

In Term 1 we welcome our new 1st year students and renew our relationship with existing students. It is important that they all settle into the school routines as quickly as possible. Parents are a great support to their daughters. The School Code of Behaviour and the School Journal are important sources of information. I encourage all parents to regularly check the Journal and use it to write any comments you feel are relevant.

I would also like to thank all those who paid the Subject Money and made a Voluntary Contribution. One third of the money spent in the school comes from parental contributions. These contributions are used to supplement the DES Grants which have been further reduced in the recent budget. We will continue to make every effort to provide the best education experience for your daughter.

Lots of events and activities took place this term which brought us great joy and you can read all about them is this newsletter. I would like to thank all those who organised and took part in these activities.

Finally, I would like to thank you all for your support and wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year.

Best wishes

Catherine Cavanagh
Principal
