The school has a long established prefect system that includes Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl, together with a number of Class and House Prefects. The prefects are appointed following a selection and election process among their peer group, agreement from the staff and an interview in the case of appointment to the position of Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl.
The prefects provide a link between the students and the teachers, represent the students both inside and outside the school and are involved in caring for and integrating new students into the school.
Each class also chooses a Class Captain and Vice-Captain whose function is to carry out specific class requests from teachers.
Student Council
The Student Council is elected annually and meets on a regular basis to consider issues and concerns which are relevant to the students. It also provides a forum for consultation on matters which are of concern to the school management.
