Christmas 2011 Fancy Dress Day

Everyone in Santa Sabina enjoyed another fantastic, fun filled, Fancy Dress Non-Uniform Day on December 22nd, marking the start of the Christmas Holidays.

The day was also an opportunity for students to contribute to the fund for the new multi function AstroTurf pitch. Thank you again to staff, students and parents for your continued support.

The event was an enormous success and very special congratulations to the Competition Winners:

1st Place: Elf: Katie Franks (5th Year)

2nd Place: Christmas Trees 1: Molly Wheeler and
Hannah and Emily Farrelly (2nd Year)

3rd Place: Christmas Trees 2: Hannah Cauchi and Caoimhe Foley (6th Year).

Fundraising Update

Well done to everyone for taking part in the recent fundraising events so enthusiastically. They are great fun and we are making fantastic progress with our fundraising efforts. From the original sum of €2.6 million spent on our sporting facilities, we now owe just €250,000 and that is decreasing every time we have an event. The rental of our wonderful sports facilities greatly helps decrease this debt too.

So enjoy the fun and continue to take part with such willingness and openness to new ideas. Lots more exciting events coming up.

Míle Buíochais

Ann Cameron (Fundraising Coordinator, Santa Sabina Sports Facilities).
