Fifth Year Art students recently enjoyed a wonderful Art trip to the National Gallery and the Casino in Marino as part of their Visual Studies course for Leaving Cert Art. They were fortunate to take part in inquiry based tours of the Lavery on Location and It Took a Century - RHA Women Artists exhibitions in NGI, followed by a fascinating guided tour of the Casino in Marino, a unique example of eighteenth century Neoclassical architecture in Ireland. Thank you to the Art teachers who organised the Art trip and to all @nationalgalleryofireland and @casinomarinoopw for a really great day.
