Institute of Physics Award 2019
The Institute of Physics Student of the Year Award is awarded to the 6th Year student or students who display excellence, enthusiasm, endeavour and achievement in the study of Leaving Certificate Physics.
This year it is awarded to Eva Nolan and Jessica O'Connell.
As well as receiving certificates of the award, Eva and Jessica's nomination are recorded in a Roll of Honour on the IOPI website www.iopireland.org.
The Institute of Physics is a leading international scientific society, charitable with a worldwide membership of more than 50,000, working together to advance physics education, research and application.
It engages with policymakers and the general public to develop awareness and understanding of the value of physics in society. It encourages and supports everyone who has an interest in physics, general public, 2nd and 3rd level education, teachers and physicists.
