Well done to all Santa Sabina students who participated in the North Leinster Cross Country Championships on Wednesday 29th January 2025.
We had some very strong performances from Santa Sabina students on the day!
Our Minor Year Team of Carragh Nig Fhloinn and Sorcha McDonagh both ran very well. Out of a field of 110 students, Carragh Nigfhloinn ran a very strong race into 4th position and has qualified for the North Leinster Cross Country Final. Well done to Carragh & Sorcha!
Our Junior Team of Beth Reamsbottom, Anna Mulvaney, Amelie Bradley, Elise Goodwin, Kate Gill & Caralyn Moran placed 1st in the team event and thus all qualify for the North Leinster Cross Country Final. Out of a field of 109 students, Kate Gill placed in 20th position, Anna Mulvaney placed in 18th position, Elise Goodwin placed in 5th position and Beth Reamsbottom came home in 1st position. Well done to all team members for bringing home the Team Gold Medals and well done to Beth for bring home the Individual Gold Medal!
Our Inter Team of Roisin Dorran, Katie Grace McDonnell, Méabh Mulvaney, Hannah Browne & Tess Kelly all ran very well. Out of a field of 90 students, Meabh Mulvaney ran a very strong race into 9th position and has qualified for the North Leinster Cross Country Championships. Well done to all team members!
The Qualifying students now look forward to the Leinster Cross Country Final which will take place on Wednesday 12th February in the Phoenix Park. Best of luck to all Santa Sabina students who will be running in that event.
