On Tuesday, 17th September, we celebrated our opening of the school year mass in St. Fintan's Church. Our theme for this year's mass was "the journey continues." It was a beautiful, prayerful, and very uplifting service, with beautiful music provided by our school choir and orchestra. We are particularly thankful to Fr. Paul Hampson for leading the liturgy and providing a very inspiring homily.
Afterwards, we invited Fr. Paul and Patrick to bless our rejuvenated Grotto. The Grotto on the grounds of Santa Sabina was commissioned by a relative of a Dominican Sister. It contains statues of Mary and Bernadette and is similar to the Lourdes Grotto. In recent years, it had fell into disparity, but a local resident took it upon himself to clean it up. We now have a ‘good as new’ Grotto with impressive stonework and immaculately painted statues. Thank you to the kind local resident for generously helping our upkeep of the Grotto!
