The Second Years took part in two fantastic leadership workshops as part of their Start of the School Year Induction. The first workshop was run by the Shóna Project and focused on building the values of kindness, resilience and positivity in teenage girls, allowing them to raise their self-esteem and confidence, and enabling them to fulfil their dreams. The second workshop was an introduction to the LIFT Progrmme (Leading Ireland's Future Together), coordinated by Ms Foster (the Student Council and Student Leadership). The workshop was facilitated by our certified 5th Year LIFT Facilitators, who led a roundtable discussion on Listening. Additional leadership LIFT themes will include Positive Attitude, Respect, Resilence and Empathy. Thank you and well done to all of the students on their wonderful engagement with the workshops. We hope they will help form firm foundations for our girls as they start out on their Second Year journeys. Ms Brangan (Second Year Head).
