Playing Soccer in Santa Sabina:

Soccer is a sport facilitated in Santa Sabina since the 2021/22 academic year. Over the last four years, the interest and growth of soccer in Santa Sabina has been immense with approximately 60 students representing the school over three teams. At present, we have a minor (U15), junior (U17) and senior (U19) teams competing in the FAI Leinster League and Cup. Last year, our senior team went as far as the Division 1 Leinster semi-final, a great achievement with the sport being so young in the school.

Over the next few years, we aim to continue to build interest in Santa Sabina soccer and continue to help the students develop their skills. We also hope to continue fostering strong links to local clubs such as; Howth Celtic, Baldoyle United and Raheny United. These links have allowed Santa Sabina to play home fixtures on their club pitches.

Currently, senior and junior training sessions take place on Tuesday mornings at 7:45am with minor training taking place on Wednesdays at the same time.

If you have an interest in playing soccer for Santa Sabina this year you can join the google classroom (code on the sports notice board) or send an email to Mr. Dunne at r.dunne@santasabina.ie or Ms. O’Connell at k.oconnell@santasabina.ie
